Windows & Network System Administrator - Vulnerability Checks, Network Scans, IT Risk - Banking, Contract, Zurich. Our client is a very well established, global bank located in Zurich. In order to strengthen their Endpoint Security Team, Swisslinx is therefore urgently seeking a very technical Windows System Administrator with strong IT Risk & Compliance skills for a contract running until the end of this year (extension possible).

I n this contract you will be working in the Endpoint Security Operation Team that works with a 3rd party compliance solutions running on Windows 2008. The overall system landscape is a large, heterogeneous server environment with MSSQL and Oracle databases running on UNIX Solaris and Redhat. Your task will be to use your strong Windows background and your solid networking skills to analyse system vulnerabilities and related IT risks, perform network scans, etc. to ensure that the operations run smoothly. In order to do that you will liaise with different business and IT stakeholders.
In order to be considered for this versatile role, Swisslinx is seeking a communicative, self-motivated and ideally local candidate who fulfils the following requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science or similar
- Strong track record in Windows System Administration, any CIS benchmarks are a strong plus
- Professional track record in the area of IT Compliance, IT Security and IT Risk (Network Scans; Vulnerability Checks, etc); good knowledge of 3rd party compliance solutions is a strong plus.
- Solid database skills (Oracle, Sybase, MSSQL)
- Good knowledge of Webservers, Antivirus & Security products and Information Security is beneficial
- Fluent English; German is a plus
