Optimus Search are working with an exciting developer of Set Top Boxes based in Switzerland. They are looking for an Embedded Linux software engineer, with a focus on device drivers, Kernel programming and board bring up to join their development for a long term opportunity.
This contract with be 9-18 months in duration, based in Zurich and the client is prepared to pay top money to secure your services.
Your responsibilities:
Responsible for the development of set-top box software
Design, analysis, design and implementation of new software features and
Creating Specifications
Software development based on Embedded Linux
Your profile
Electrical Engineering with several years of experience
Good knowledge of Embedded C/C + + under Linux
Good knowledge of Linux and device driver development
Following skills are an advantage:
UML
Network and streaming protocols
DVB standards
Flexible, creative and team-oriented personality
Quick-wittedness
Structured, focused and careful operation
