Global Network/Infrastructure Manager - Contract - 6 months rolling
We are now looking for a GLOBAL NETWORK MANAGER to join a global client in Geneva.
You will manage the Network team (more than 10 pers) and provide Network solution to increase operational efficiencies while expanding Network services. This covers LAN, MAN, WAN, WLAN, VoIP, Security, Unified communication services and other network services. This position reports directly into the Global Head of Infrastructure. You should have previous successful experience managing offshore supplier & team.
THE ROLE
* Manage and supervise the Network team by defining objectives, priorities and activities; complete the evaluation process of the team to support the strategy
* Prepare and define the budget for the team
* Define and provide Network KPI's
* Guide, communicate and support the regions EMEA, US/LAT, ASIA and CHINA with governance
* Provide documentations and processes to the Service Desk, Technical Service & Delivery team
* Follow IS Change Management guidelines and processes
* Manage your respective suppliers
YOU NEED
* 5 to 10 years' experience in supporting Network environment in a large scale environment.
* 3-5 years' experience in managing global projects.
* Experience in managing offshore/outsourcing/Indian teams will be a plus.
* Proven track record of managing a team.
* Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
* Fluent English. French skills will be a plus.
* Strong Network products knowledge.
* Strong understandings of global IT architecture.
* Excellent services oriented mindset.
* Flexible and strong responsive to change.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Ease to work in a multi-national and multi-cultural environment.
