Java Technical Lead - Tier 1 Investment Bank - Zurich, Switzerland
We are urgently recruiting for a Java J2EE Technical Lead to join one of the World's largest and most prestigious investment banks, via a global IT & Management Consultancy, to work in an established Java Application Development and Deployment team within the payments department, working as a Technical Lead on Application Development, Packaging and Deployment.
Our client is one of the world's largest and best renowned IT & Management Consultancies, they operate globally from over 100 offices in 65 countries, employing well over 120,000 people across technical fields and disciplines; they work with a number of blue chip organisations, the role at hand is to work with exactly one of them, a very well-known and prestigious investment bank.
We are recruiting for a Java J2EE Technical Lead, they will be a senior member of the Application Development, Packaging and Deployment team, currently working onsite at the Tier 1 IB to provide full development life cycle assistance for a number of business critical Front/Middle/Back Office banking applications.
The role at hand requires someone who will be able to keep hands-on technically whilst still be a proactive member of a project management board, there to advise on best technological practices and procedures, the technical skill set/experience we require for this role is as follows:
Strong Knowledge and Experience of Java J2EE
Strong Knowledge and Experience of J2EE Environments
Strong Knowledge and Experience of Application Packaging
Strong Knowledge and Experience of Application Deployment
Strong Knowledge and Experience of Struts/Hibernate/Development Frameworks
Strong Knowledge and Experience of Oracle Databases
Strong Knowledge and Experience of Full Development and Deployment Lifecycle.
This role will be working closely with both developers onsite and offshore as well as interfacing with the project leaders and the clients, ensuring that a level of excellence in project delivery is maintained at all times, as such we are keen to speak to only people with good communication skills that work well as part of a team.
