For our large banking client in Zürich, we are looking for an experienced
Junior Business Analyst that has experience in Decommissioning and Infrastructure
(Please note they are not looking for a standard Applications Business Analyst)

As part of the wind- down program for the former Clariden Leu Trading operations and infrastructure, we have embarked on a decommissioning project. In scope are a number of applications, services and hardware spanning server, storage and network data centre infrastructure.
An initial phase of analysis will be undertaken whereby a detailed decommissioning plan will be produced. Following the planning phase, the decommissioning activities will be performed during 2013. We require a number of people to participate in the project and to initially contribute to the analysis and planning efforts.
Candidates will be expected to;
- Take ownership of analysis activities covering applications, services, database and infrastructure
- Perform tasks such as mapping applications to their relevant database and storage dependencies
- Contribute to planning of activities
- Drive and track decommissioning tasks
- Work with a variety of stakeholders including business representatives, technology specialists and support staff
- Identify, record and manage dependencies
Candidates should possess skills in the following areas;
- Experience in decommissioning projects
- Experience in performing analysis tasks & recording findings
- Project planning
- Trading technology knowledge such as exchange connectivity and trading applications
- Ability to work as part of a small team
- Whilst not a technical role per se, a broad based know- how across Windows/UNIX/SQL/Sybase/Storage/Networks would be an advantage
- Working language of English
