Collaboration Team - SharePoint 2010
Location: Lausanne, Switzerland
Term: 12 months
ROLE PURPOSE
This temporary Team Member is a SharePoint 2010 Enterprise solution architect contributing to the overall design, and architecture development of an Enterprise Collaboration Farm to be built on SharePoint Server 2010. The team member also provides third level support for other SharePoint 2010 Farms.
The present need is for a consultant to help design and document a SharePoint Server 2010 collaboration architecture The consultant will also work on technical issue related to SharePoint Server 2010 and SharePoint 2007.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITES
Management Responsibilities
People Management:
- Work with the Digital & Technology Unit team and the B2e team to ensure actions, goals, and objectives are achieved.
- Collaboration team coordination and communication:
- Organize and manage communication between Stakeholders. Goals are to get feedback from the operational teams, discuss the solutions, and inform the teams about future key events.
- Vendor coordination:
- Coordinate new releases or version updates with suppliers. Ensure that the deliverables are in line with the expected standards in terms of time, quality, and budgets.
Technical/Functional Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Development and Standards
- Design, develop, document, and update the technical infrastructure designs and standards for infrastructure collaboration components including the following:
- SharePoint Server 2010 and related components
- The primary responsibility is the Knowledge Directory application but other SharePoint Server 2010 hosted applications are in scope as well, especially where necessary to backup other Team Members when they must work on Knowledge Directory.
- Infrastructure Operations
- Develop, maintain, and provide 3rd level support for the all applications hosted on SharePoint Server 2010. Control and resolve problems (ServiceCenter support incidents) for all relevant Collaboration projects.
Duties will include:
- SharePoint Server 2010 infrastructure development
- Development of custom made (in-house) scripts and tools
- Minor developments or modifications to SharePoint Server 2010
- Troubleshooting issues related to SharePoint Server 2010
- Contribute to deployment and maintenance of other infrastructure standards. Work together with the appropriate IS/IT Teams to assist in the design of all Collaboration infrastructure solutions. Provide backup and support for the development, maintenance, and 3rd level support for the Infrastructure collaboration solutions.
- Training/Knowledge Transfer
- Provide adequate training and knowledge transfer to teams enabling them to implement the infrastructure standards in Markets.
- Technology Watch
- Explore new solutions for the Group, based on New technologies and Best Practices.

Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2010, Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, MS Windows Active Directory, MS Windows Domain Name Services (D/DNS), MS WEB Technologies (IIS, ASP, HTML, HTTP etc.), MS SQL Server 2008, Scripting, Server Farm Design Concepts, Project Management, English
