CONTRACT: Application Decommissioning Engineer (f/m)

These are your main tasks in this role:
Take part in a decommissioning project, including applications, services, databases and infrastructures
Contribute to the analysis and planning phase of the project
Analysis activities covering applications, services and hardware spanning server, storage and network datacenter infrastructure
Mapping applications
Work with different stakeholders including business representatives, technology specialists and support staff
Identify, record and manage dependencies
The following skills are required:
Previous experience in decommissioning projects
Experience in performing analysis tasks & recording findings
Project planning
Trading technology knowledge such as exchange connectivity and trading applications
A broad based knowhow across Windows / UNIX / SQL / Sybase / Storage / Networks would be an advantage
Fluent English skills
German is an advantage
Start: ASAP
Duration: 6 months + possible extension
Type: Contract
Pensum: Full time
