Project environment:A Swiss bank’s Group Technology has a number of Control & Supervision Programmes focused on address People, Tools, KPIs and Processes. These initiatives are a combination of Group wide and specific projects to improve aspects of the Group Technology Risk Management.
Tasks:
• Managing the Supervision Project in Group Technology
• Managing the initiatives required to improve F2B metrics
• Designing and implementing appropriate solutions to meet the core Control Objectives identified through the programmes
• Coordinating the activities and working with a variety of related projects/initiatives to ensure a streamline approach to control improvement within Group Technology
• Managing relationships with all project stakeholders including IT Risk, Operational Risk, IT Streams, HR, GIA etc.
• Establishing, organising and managing the Working Groups to ensure consistent alignment of activities as well buy-in from the IT Streams
• Ensuring project governance is established and effective
• Ensuring project change management
• Providing the project plan and updating it as needed (deadlines, milestones, delivery, requested and planned resources etc.). Scheduling and managing the project according to the project management plan and ensuring all relevant project deliveries during all phases
• Ensuring all necessary sign-offs according to the guidelines & performing all relevant reviews; Ensuring cost provision and effort estimations
Requirements:
• Self-starter who engenders an innovative culture where team peers can contribute new ideas and approaches, and challenge the status quo
• Able to synthesise complex or contradictory information and to make balanced, rational decisions
• Understand risk and escalate to the wider management forums where appropriate
• 5+ years of IT Project/Programme Management experience in a financial services organization; 2+ years of experience managing international IT change projects
• Good understanding of IT Risk and Control
• Professional skills in Project management:
o Planning and organizing; Decision making
o Resource management & Financial control
o Risk and issue management
o Stakeholder management
Desirable Skills:
• Strong negotiating, influencing and change management skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
• Experience in Microsoft Office
