Our client in the banking industry has recently introduced a Lifecycle Review Process for improving the certainty and quality of Project Delivery. The initial phase has rolled out the four current reviews to all divisions and covers key projects/programmes. In Phase 2 of the Lifecycle Review you will be carrying out a various number of roles:

Responsibilities:
  • Add an additional Lifecycle Review to cover Operating Model and Requirements
  • Streamline the overall process
  • Programme manage the individual Lifecycle Review Improvement Projects
  • Design and arrange delivery of training and communications * Design and implement reporting on the qualitative aspects of reviews
  • Build out the Lifecycle Review Roadmap
  • Managing relationships with all project stakeholders
  • Organising and managing the working groups to ensure consistent alignment of the activities as well buy-in from the IT Streams
  • Establishing and ensuring Project Governance is effective and managed
  • Ensuring project change management
  • Providing the project plan and updating it as needed (deadlines, milestones, delivery, requested and planned resources etc.) .Scheduling and managing the project according to the project management plan and ensuring all relevant project deliveries during all phases
  • Ensuring all necessary sign-offs according to the guidelines and performing all relevant reviews
  • Ensuring cost provision and effort estimations


Required Skills:
  • 5+ years of IT Project/Programme Management experience in a financial services organization
  • 2+ years of experience managing international IT change projects
  • Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Strong understanding of Project and Programme Management Methodologies
  • Professional skills in Project management:
  • Planning and organizing
  • Decision making
  • Resource management
  • Financial control
  • Risk and issue management
  • Stakeholder management
  • Strong negotiating, influencing and change management skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
  • Experience in Microsoft Office
