Within the clients IT Software Asset Management team, we are seeking an experienced Software License ManagerWork specification:
Establish a software entitlement record in EMEA using existing tools and processes. Build software entitlement record based on contracts. Provide access to Contract Database, all other contract data sources and stakeholders. Analyse contracts, collect software entitlement data and feed it into input template.
Requirements:
Ability to analyse the financial, legal, and business implications of complex vendor licensing/maintenance models and their entitlements
Experience interpreting different T&C's of software agreements
Ability to visualize, anticipate, and articulate a strategy when volume licensing/maintenance programs and/or contract terms change
Understanding software compliance based on different contractual license metrics and T&C's
Experience in creating software asset inventories based on license metrics, T&C's of vendor agreements for purchased software
Overseeing license inventory and ownership of all assets
Experience in developing processes to capture, categorize and maintain software data
Knowledge of IT and technical understanding of technologies, platforms, software
Invoice reconciliation in SAP/Ariba
Very good data analytical and conceptual skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
IT Skills:
IT Asset Management Tools such as IBM's Tivoli Asset Management, Ariba, SAP would be an advantage
Windows, Unix, SAP would be an advantage
MS SQL, MS Access, Oracle, Lotus Notes, IBM DB2 would be an advantage
