On behalf of our client, a major European bank based in Zurich, Nicoll Curtin require a Release/Testing Administrator for a six month contract based on-site in Zurich. This is a multi-functional role to plan and manage the testing, the Release Control process and the procurement process for the system hardware across all environments. The ideal candidate will be eager to manage and plan all aspects of the team's release process including testing and hardware installations.
The role will entail:
* Working within a team to plan and administer release and testing needs
* Managing and executing the steps in the release process to get applications into UAT and production
* Create application packages for deployment as needed
* Plan testing plans, strategies, and schedules
* Coordinate testing resources
* Participate in testing and Quality Control as needed
* Order System hardware and upgrades as needed
Requirements:
* Previous experience of release processes within the financial services is a must
* Previous experience developing Tests and planning strategy
* DB admin, SQL or Reporting experience a plus.
* Professional, flexible and positive attitude.
* Highly motivated, self-starter who can work effectively alone as well as with in a team.
* Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize, identify problems and seek solutions
* Excellent and persuasive people skills
