Applications Architect needed to work on a project for a well known multinational Pharma Organization.Works as part of a team to develop internal technology infrastructure for business enterprises. High level technical design and architecture for a project or program to include roadmap and strategy.
Must have a wide knowledge and experience with technology platforms, industry best practices for large-scale corporate environments, etc. Good communication skills are required. Demonstrated knowledge of object-oriented architecture and design methodologies (including design patterns).
- Excellent analytical and large system design skills;
- Experience leading the development of large products and/or components using C++ and C# on Windows OS;
- Experience with .NET, Java, and/or PHP for server development;
- Experience with JavaScript and HTML+CSS. HTML5 a plus;
- Experience with server technologies and distributed systems;
- Successfully completed several commercial software development cycles;
- Technical understanding and appreciation of high quality, Agile based product development processes;
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills;
- Demonstrated ability to relate complex technical issues to non-technical people
Location: Basel - Switzerland
Duration: 6 months (option for extension)
Assistance will be provided for obtaining Swiss Work Permit, Housing, and opening Swiss Bank account.
