My Client, a global pharmaceutical company is currently seeking a Clinical SAS Programmer for a 6-12 month contract at their offices in Basel. The ideal candidate will be able to commit to working full time for the duration of the contract, and be available immediately.
Education:
BA/BS or equivalent experience in mathematics, statistics, computer science, life sciences or related field. MS in Statistics is preferred.
Languages: Fluent English (oral and written).
Experience/Professional requirement:
1. Expert knowledge/experience in IT tools and statistical software.
2. Excellent knowledge of global clinical trial practices, procedures, and data presentation.
3. Advanced knowledge of office tools.
4. Proven ability to supervise others.
5. Good understanding of regulatory requirements relevant to SR (eg GCP, ICH).
6. Proven ability to objectively review vendor software to maintain effectiveness in rapidly changing IT environment, ability to participate in external Pharma groups on SR related matters (eg, CDISC).
7. A minimum of 10 years experience in a programming role preferably supporting clinical trials/or in the pharmaceutical industry.
