We are looking for an Application Developer
- Create software components, according to requirement needs and program specifications using the following technical skills: PL/1, DB2, IMS, JCL, MQ, Webservices/Corba
- Design software solutions according to requirement documents
- Create program specifications according to requirement documents
- Ensure that implementation matches needs of requirements regarding functional and non-functional aspects
- Maintain traceability between implementation and requirements
- Identify impact of changes on the existing implementation. Be aware of IT architecture and IT strategy.
- Good analytical skill on PL/1, DB2 and WebSphere MQ for debugging purpose
- Performance tuning, knowledge on performance measurement tool (STROBE)
- Provide support for tester.
- Provide input to the Project Manager for project plan and implementation prioritisation.
- Incident handling
In addition the following skills are needed:
- good communication skills in English, German would be a bonus;
- Able to think abstractly and work at high-levels of abstraction;
- Able to collaborate well with stakeholders, and IT experts;
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently and under high pressure in a multicultural environment
- Experience and knowledge of financial instruments area and Unix knowledge would be an asset
