SAP NPDI Specialist - Project PPM & CATS
Location: Lausanne, Switzerland
Term: 3 years
ROLE PURPOSE, MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
This is an IS/IT function with responsibility to be an active team member in the GLOBE BTC team which supports & provides continuous improvements to the Company's PPM solution "NPDI" which serves the Company's Product Development and Introduction process (product-development-focused stage-gate process) in the company.
The candidate will be providing mainly expertise in the area of project and resource management (PPM cProject) and time management (CATS).
The candidate will be involved in Design and Construction activities as well as support/Sustain activities
MAIN RESPONSIBILITES
Provide functional and technical competence and experience in SAP PPM modules (RPM, Project) and CATS with a special focus on Time and Resource management. PPM Project, HR integration and CATS expertise is a must.
SAP Business Analyst NPDI will provide an active participation in all phases of Design and Construction.
Design and Construction activities are mainly related to:
- Analysis of Business Processes and transformation into system configuration to establish alignment with GLOBE NPDI End-To-End Process and Best Practices.
- Perform system configuration utilizing the relevant GLOBE tools and in accordance with the established GLOBE documents and procedures.
- Perform Design and Construction activities including testing.
- Prepare Training Material and provide training to other project team members as necessary.
- Ensure integration with other SAP/GLOBE components relevant for the company (CATS, accounting and other relevant interfaces).
Support activities are mainly related to:
- Provide third level functional and technical support.

- Language skills: English (German and French a plus)
MAIN KNOWLEDGE
- Web Dynpro ABAP, ABAP Objects, BAPI (BOR), Classical ABAP (Module Pool, Reports, DDIC), BAdI and User-Exit
- 3+ years Full time hands-on configuration and implementation experience in SAP PPM from 4.0 onwards with strong Project knowledge
- Good general understanding of the functionalities ofSAPPS (esp. planning, budgeting and actual postings toWBSelements along with relevant reporting)
- Configuration experience ofCATS4.7 enterprise (incl. HR Integration)
- Good technical knowledge of the Interfaces between PPM and CATS and HR
- Good knowledge on how to implement resource management with SAP PPM solution
Complementary knowledge:
- Understanding of any of the following will be considered a big advantage:
- Familiarity with GLOBE tools, method of implementation, formal procedures
