Global Investment Bank is seeking an experienced C#/.Net Developer to be based in Zurich, Switzerland.
Job Description
The Core data Services team is running a large data program to address data collection, collation, validation and distribution across the Asset management space. In this role there will be a need to work closely with all IT department departments and department stakeholders. Responsibility will include IT development, documentation, work task planning and contribution to both solution architecture and design.
The ideal candidate should have:
* Excellent communication, interpersonal & presentation skills
* 5+ years proven Professional Development experience
* Tenacity, self motivation and an ability to work under time pressure
* Fluency in English, preferably also German
* Degree or similar in Information technology
* Preferably experienced within the financial services sector
* Proven Object Oriented Design and development technologies
Required:
* C# and database development skills
* .NET framework 3.5/4.0
Beneficial:
* WPF and WCF (highly desired)
* Messaging experience (Particularly Tibco)
* Knowledge of threading models
