Tasks:
- Responsibility for architecture and product strategy that aligns with business and Group Technology strategies.
- Act as architectural leads for new solutions, delivering the Architecture and High-level Design documentation.
- Work with Delivery function to agree solution implementation design and ensure adherence to architectural principles
- Identification of opportunities to rationalize and converge strategic platforms and definition of roadmaps to realize vision.
- Drive out efficiencies through identifying cost saving opportunities within the existing architectural solutions
- Co-ordination of governance activities associated with gaining approval for technical and financial decisions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience of enterprise development and Engineering (Application Development or Systems Integration including SDLC)
- work experience in the Global Financial Services Industry.
- Having previously worked with Oracle/DB2, Enterprise search & content management, Archiving products, Unix & Mainframe environments, Java development and infrastructure specification
- Highly skilled manager who is able to establish the merits of the differing inputs, broker agreements and maintain acceptance across a range of interested parties
- Some experience in supporting Legal or Compliance based systems, ideally knowledge of legal hold & disposal, management of content immutable storage, retention schedules, and taxonomy
