For our customer in Fribourg we are looking for a Software Engineer
Required Skills:
- Strong computing fundamentals of Java in general and J2EE/infrastructure knowledge
- 6+ years of software development experience in a UNIX environment
- 5+ years coding experience using Java. Excellent knowlede of Java 6 and 7 is required
- Knowledge of the GUI part is just a plus, the development is much Back End oriented, in the compute cluster environment
- Very good knowledge of design patterns, programming concurrency and programming complexity
Desired Skills:
- Experience with application development on the Apache Hadoop technology stack (incl. Hadoop, Pig, Hive)
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL technologies, particularly MySQL/Oracle and Apache HBase/Cassandra
