We are looking for a Software Engineer(.net/C#) to be based within the Engineering team within our Investment bank client based in Zurich.
The team is running a large data program to address data collection, collation, validation and distribution. In this role there will be a need to work closely with all IT department departments and department stakeholders.
Responsibility will include IT development, documentation, work task planning and contribution to both solution architecture and design.
The ideal candidate should have:
Excellent communication, interpersonal & presentation skills
5+ years proven Professional Development experience
Tenacity, self motivation and an ability to work under time pressure
Fluency in English, preferably also German
Degree or similar in Information technology
Preferably experienced within the financial services sector
Proven Object Oriented Design and development technologies.
Required skills include:
C#
.net framework 3.5/4.0
Beneficial skills include:
WPF and WCF (highly desired)
Messaging experience (Particularly Tibco)
Knowledge of threading models
