For our client, a pharmaceutical company based in Basel (Switzerland), we are looking for a motivated and ambitious:
Project Manager - Data Center Consolidation Governance (until the End of 2012)
Your tasks
- Own the migration strategy of entire Basel Datacenter Consolidation application portfolio
- Ensure migration strategy is in aligned with Enterprise Architecture strategy as well as with GIS strategies (eg Data Center strategy)
- Consult Business Partners during Application Panel reviews to ensure their commitment to migration strategy and planning
- Perform a high level migrations planning and documentation in compliance with our methodologies & standards
- Responsible for ensuring that the internally and externally sourced experts are aligned with project needs and deliver in accordance to project requirements and timelines
- Maximize the business value ensuring effective alignment with business requirements
- Ensure alignment of migration schedule with other business and business IT initiatives
- Govern changes to migration strategy and migration schedule to ensure stable long-term planning
- Serve as a consultant and role model. Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct and behavior in dealings with staff, colleagues, customers and outside contacts
- Collaborate with other IT and business managers to leverage opportunities
Your profile
- Minimum education: University degree or adequate equivalent.
- Desirable education: Masters degree.
- Languages: Fluent English written & spoken
- Leadership: demonstrated leaderships skills, > 5 years proven management experience within a Matrix organization (eg as a team leader or in project management).
- Customer Orientation: ability to communicate & align with key IT stakeholders.
- Methodology: savvy in IT process, best practices & standards, eg ITIL.
- GxP/SOX: sound knowledge of validation practice.
- Ability to cope with project and operations complexities, ambiguities and Matrix organizations.
- Understanding of application portfolio management and life cycle management, CLARITY knowledge would be preferable (not a must)
- Experience in Enterprise Architecture and high level understanding of technical architecture (eg virtualization strategies)
