On behalf of a major Pharma client we are urgently looking for an Expert for Information Governance & Management (IGM) for a contracting role in Basel (Switzerland).
Project overview:
- Deliver IGM services to the entities/IT units of the organisation to ensure adequate protection of the information assets
- Rollout the divisional strategy for IGM in alignment with the local/functional IT Leadership Team and Business stakeholders
- Proactively work with the IT Leadership Team and Business stakeholders to implement standards and policies for IGM.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor the information security, IT compliance, records management and information risk management program to ensure the integrity, confidentiality and availability of information within the organisation
- Work directly with the business functions to facilitate information risk management processes, identify acceptable levels of risk, and establish responsibilities as to records management and information classification/protection
- Provide subject matter expertise to functional management on IT security standards and best practices: ISO 27000, CobiT, GxP/CSV and ITIL
- Provide compliance & risk management guidance for IT projects (recommend technical controls)
- Ensure that IGM programs are compliant with applicable legislation and eliminate risk and audit findings
- Ensure implementation of the information risk management process, monitor and report information risk status, trends & issues
- Manage security incidents and events to protect IT assets, incl. intellectual property, fixed assets and the company's reputation
- Coordinate the development of procedures to ensure business-critical services are recovered if declared disaster happens.
Requirements:
- Group leadership experience and a good knowledge of business processes/objectives in a global health care industry
- Preferably expert knowledge of information governance & management disciplines
- Deep understanding of the IT security standards ISO 27000, CobiT, GxP/CSV and ITIL
- Risk Management background and knowledge of general IT, project management, service delivery and compliance domains
- Implementation of new processes or methodologies
- High level of customer focus with proven problem solving skills.
