Senior SharePoint Developer
Location: Lausanne, Switzerland
Term: 18 Months plus more extensions for another 18 months

Major Responsibilities
His/her key responsibilities are as follows:
- Review functional specifications, produce/review architecture and technical specifications
- Define high level technical design, development efforts and timelines
- Participate to the quality gates review such as architecture review of the solution if necessary in collaboration with other technologies
- Ensure proper communication between developers to provide a good integration in the technologies
- Conduct technical testing of the application
- Ensure on time delivery of the development according to company standards and processes
- Facilitate the timely resolution of issues linked to the development process.
- Hands-on in resolving critical issues in collaboration with other teams.
- Coordinate and contribute to the update of the technical design if necessary. Propose alternative solution based on new technologies available.
- Ensure and monitor the respect of quality standards for coding and technical documentation
- Ensure adherence to project timelines through regular monitoring and tracking of deliverables
Main Purpose of the job
- Technical design, development and delivery of SharePoint 2010 features, WebParts and additional components for a large distributed Intranet in accordance with business needs and development standards. Participate to the SharePoint related architecture, providing guidance and governance for the integration of third party solutions.
- Deliver best in class development solutions in accordance with business needs and development standards
- Perform developments leveraging SharePoint 2010 on a large multi-farm environment with 250'000 users
- Participate in business requirements sessions providing technical inputs to leverage out of the box functionalities versus custom development
- Conduct investigations on issues concerning SharePoint applications

- Deep expertise/experience in SharePoint 2010 design/development/administration/Configuration (HD)
- Ability to handle complex SharePoint developments autonomously and perform root cause analysis (HD)
- Experience in developing projects following a methodology within a team (HD)
- Deep understanding of scalability and maintainability concerns and best practices on a multi-farm environment (HD)
- Fluent in English both written and spoken (D).
- Ability to think out of the box and find alternative solutions to critical issues (HD)
- Experience in Internet facing solutions (D)
- Deep experience in integrating with other technologies (.NET, SAP Portal, SSL VPN) (D)
