Consolidation Governance Project Manager
Our global multinational end client in Basel is currently looking for a Consolidation Governance Project Manager to join its team.
We can offer you a 6 months contract that can be renewed at the end.
THE ROLE
*Own the migration strategy of entire application portfolio.
*Ensure migration strategy is in aligned with Enterprise Architecture strategy
*Consult Business Partners during Application Panel reviews to ensure their commitment to migration strategy and planning
*Perform a high level migrations planning and documentation in compliance with our client's methodologies & standards.
*Responsible for ensuring that the internally and externally sourced experts are aligned with project needs and deliver in accordance to project requirements and timelines.
*Maximize the business value ensuring effective alignment with business requirements.
*Ensure alignment of migration schedule with other business and business IT initiatives.
*Govern changes to migration strategy and migration schedule to ensure stable long-term planning
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
*Serve as a consultant and role model.
*Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct and behavior in dealings with staff, colleagues, customers and outside contacts.
*Collaborate with other IT and business managers to leverage opportunities.
*Achieve the most effective and efficient migration plan.
*Manage and represent the project from start-up to completion.
*Collaborate and negotiate with external partners to support project progress, ensuring reliability, competence, flexibility and cost effectiveness.
*Ensure the continuous improvement, rationalization of migration plans.
*Ensure proper implementation of global standards, policies and systems platforms.
*Ensure close cooperation between the project team and the Business IT teams.
*Conduct industry and domain analyses for technology choices and directions.
*Evaluate and prototype alternatives as needed.
*Create risk-benefit analysis of alternatives.
*Coach and consult the stakeholders on their best and most cost-effective options.
*Achieve agreed project targets in terms of quality, time and cost.
*Adhere to defined management and delivery processes for IT projects and other policies relevant to the project scope (HW/SW standards, CSV, Information Protection).
*Ensure delivery of project results according to agreed quality, schedules and cost while maintaining customer satisfaction.
YOUR PROFILE
*Master degree.
*Languages: Fluent English written & spoken
*At least 5 years of proven management or team leading experience within a Matrix organization.
*Methodology: IT process, best practices & standards, customer oriented (ITIL).
*GxP/SOX: sound knowledge of validation practice.
*Understanding of application portfolio management and life cycle management, CLARITY knowledge would be a strong plus.
*Experience in Enterprise Architecture and high level understanding of technical architecture (virtualization strategies).
