Governance Project Manager for Data Center Consolidation - Contract until end of 2012 - Pharma, Basel.
You are looking for a challenging contract in a leading, international organisation?
In this contract you will take ownership of the migration strategy for the entire Basel Datacenter Consolidation application portfolio and ensure that the strategy in aligned with the Enterprise Architecture and Data Center strategy. Therefore you will consult business partners, project experts and other (business & non-business) stakeholders, ensure their commitment and alignment of the migration schedule (deliverables, timelines, etc). In order to achieve that, you will have to perform a high level of planning to achieve the most effective and efficient migration plan, but also conduct analysis for technology choices/directions as well as for risk-benefit evaluation and create the documentations in compliance with our client's methodologies and standards.
In order to be considered for this challenging contract position, we are seeking an experienced candidate with a proven track record in autonomously delivering projects in a complex, international environment and the following qualifications:
- University degree or equivalent
- Min. 5 years leadership experience (team leader/project manager)
- Proven track record in Enterprise Architecture and technical architecture (incl. virtualization strategies)
- Strong understanding of application portfolio management and life cycle management (knowledge of CLARITY is beneficial, but not mandatory)
- Knowledge of best practice and standards such as ITIL are important.
- Sound knowledge of validation practice (GxP/SOX)
- English only is fine; further languages are a plus
