Our client, a bank located in Zürich is looking for a experienced Java Developer with the interest and capability to understand the business and products we support. This is a hands-on role that includes liaising with both business stakeholders and analysts to gather and understand new requirements, designing and implementing new solutions as well as extending existing implementations.
Your Responsibilities:
- Create a low latency market data platform for FX, Equities, ETFs, Forwards, etc.
- Define aggregation algorithms for various market data feeds
- Reduced dependency on RMDS and Bloomberg
- Designed and implemented spike filters to detect spurious Equity and FX spot ticks on-the-fly
- Optimize and implement set work flow processes
Skills Required:
- Extensive hands-on development skills in Java
- Excellent Structured Products knowledge
- Excellent know-how Rule & Order Management
- Broad experience with Run Engine StreamBase CEP Plattform
- Experience with Apache, Solaris, Swing, Hibernate, Python are advantageous
- SCRUM methods advantageous
- Familiarity with Linux is beneficial
- Fluent English
- MUST ALREADY BE A RESIDENT IN SWITZERLAND
