Construction & Implementation Specialist OSC - Telecoms
Our client is urgently looking for a Specialist Construction & Implementation OSC for a 6 months contract based in Zurich. The Specialist Construction & Implementation OSC will report to Implementation Manager and Project Leader OSC Projects. (OSC: Objects Special Coverage)
Main tasks:
Realization of Wireless Indoor and Railway Telco projects
Ensure quality of delivery for the defined project costs, quality and schedule during construction and implementation phase
Consultation during all project phases of telecommunication Sites
Tasks:
Knowing the guidelines and processes
Knowing the contracts with other operators and supplier
Controlling of invoices
Issuing of Planned works
Support of tricky and unusual solutions
Support of projects at shared sites
Maintenance of data bases
Tracking of production lead times with supplier
Responsibilities & accountabilities
Ensures the application of the Network Rollout Process
Supports rollout sub processes where OSC expertise is needed
Supports and controls the supplier according the actual set of technical guidelines and processes
Controls rollout related costs
Escalates and justifies extra costs
Supports Project Leader OSC in terms of forecasting of construction tasks
Monitors data quality in the relevant tools and databases

Education
Education equivalent to TS or HTL degree in Electrical Engineering or Telecommunications
Experience in:
Construction of telecom sites/project management/quality assurance/business administration/Communication skills.
Native German or French speaking/English language
Two or more years leading projects in a technical environment
Civil works knowledge
