Our client in the finance industry seeks a Progress 4GL developer to assist in the separation and integration of critical functions, which are available in macros, Excel and Access solutions in the bank's business environment into the UBS IT landscape.
Task & Responsibilities:
- Progress 4 GL programming
- Windows-based client masks Progress
- Distributed business logic (Client Server) with Progress 4GL
- Server Side batch processing with Progress 4GL
- Ability to work (or part of a project team to implement small self-employed)
- Discuss with customer requirements and understand
- Application design and implementation solutions
Required Experience/Skills:
- Good practice experience with Progress 4 GL programming language
- Practical experience in the implementation of business applications
- Knowing the Progress OpenEdge Studio version 10
- Flexible and pragmatic use
- Quick learner/quick in providing project services
- Cooperation with partner interfaces (end-to-end)
- Optional: understanding the financial sector (which may move into banking-related topics securities Back Office)
- Language: English in written and spoken, German strongly preferred.
