Network Engineer Telecom
Our client in beautiful Switzerland is looking for various Network Engineers with experience within Telecom projects for contract roles based in Zurich.
Post Mission
Technical support of our regions as well as securing of a faultless operation of all telecommunication equipment within the customer's network.
Guarantees that the high quality standard can be kept and assures that all work is done in the most cost efficient and optimal way.
Main Responsibilities
Is able to operationally address suppliers or internal organizations in case of a problem.
Escalates the next higher instance in case of a serious problem.
Is the technical reference in the area of telecommunication and gives guidance to persons within Field Services.
Handle complex processes
Sophisticating coordination function between internal interfaces

Continuous reaching of cost savings trough optimizations and increase of the efficiency without decreasing the quality.Implement
Management of projects and processes in the service areas FLM, Preventive Maintenance, Implementation and Customer Network Service Solutions.
Analyzing and developing of innovative concepts in a way that the productivity, quality and the costs are optimized.
Support the 3rd party manager with definition of SLA's of all relevant maintenance contracts in the area of telecommunication. Supervises if the SLA's are kept by the supplier and work out adaptations in case there is a need to (contract renegotiations with key suppliers, renewing of older contracts).
Supervises the quality of our systems and plans together with engineering the replacement of systems (Life Cycle Management).
Supervises the warranty duration of the used systems.
Leads or supports, implements and operates SNS activities (sunrise Network Service Solutions).
Evaluation of suppliers, measurement equipment, software, systems and tools.
Acts as a SPOC within projects as well as in working groups.
Supports product launches (represent FS as a SPOC).
Supports the evaluation and introduction of new equipment and platforms in cooperation with our engineering departments (represent FS as a SPOC).
Creates documentations, guidelines and checklists.
Creates statistics and reports.
Involves regularly the regions by organizing meetings and workshops in a way that the communication is assured over the regions.
Creates and supervises the budget, searching and analysing of cost drivers and executes accurate corrective actions.
Look permanently for improvements in order to optimize our organization.
Interface to internal and external departments (companies).
IT
Act as a SPOC in the area of IT issues.
Defines and administrates the software package for the whole department by involving specialists.
Creates and administrates the departments Intranet-Concept.
Ordering and administration of accounts and access rights.
Qualifications:
Higher technical education as well as a background in economical questions wishful.
Is able to communicate in German and in English.
Good working knowledge of wireless and Wireline networks.
Experience:
6 to 10 years of experience as telecommunications engineer mandatory.
Has experience with IT support within the telecommunications area.
Has experience in the area of project leading.
Has experience in the area of a service- or maintenance organization
Has already collected work experience in a process oriented surrounding (company).
