For our customer in the French part of Switzerland, we are looking ASAP for a
Java Application Developer
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Technology solutions engineering and delivery of solutions using techniques mentioned above
- Capturing and understanding the requirements of the task or project. Being able to communicate back the requirements through documentation and verbal communications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Being able to work independently as well as part of a larger team
- Being able to work on multiple projects in parallel
- Participate in team discussions and share ideas
Required skills are:
- Strong developer skill set and hands on development experience in JavaEE, Weblogic Application Server
- Working knowledge of development of BPM application development using BPMN, preferably using Oracle BPM 10g
- Working practice with development of service oriented applications using CORBA, WebService and JMS messaging
- Working practice using JSF framework
- Database development using JDBC, SQL, Oracle 11g
- Knowledge and experience of test driven development (jUnit) is a must
- Good knowledge in the UNIX operating system, in creating Shell Scripts (preferably Oracle Solaris)
- Knowhow in Configuration management using SVN
