The main purpose of fixed-term assignment is to support our client's Capacity and Performance Management team to define, drive and create visibility for a plan to improve the performance of business critical IT systems. In addition you will participate in IT continuity activities by reviewing and improving business continuity plans for different locations and scenarios.
Responsibilities will include:
- Support the Capacity & Performance Manager by reviewing currently identified capacity demands or capacity discrepancies and determine options to respond to them
- Review performance bottlenecks and work with relevant teams to address them, either through efficiency (code, load, configuration) or capacity (hardware, firmware, software, tuning), or a combination of the two
- Plan and coordinate purchase preparation (including justification/prioritization), testing and deployment of agreed capacity demands
- Review and improve existing business continuity plans for different locations and scenarios
- ITIL knowledge (certification an advantage), or IS/IT engineer background with business acumen/experience
- Substantial experience in code analysis/optimization, hardware sizing and IS/IT capacity/performance management
- Coordination and leadership skills, experience and capability
- SAP and IT Infrastructure knowledge and experience
