For our customer in the area of Lausanne we are looking ASAP for a

Java Application Developer

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Technology solutions engineering and delivery of solutions using techniques mentioned above
  • Capturing and understanding the requirements of the task or project. Being able to communicate back the requirements through documentation and verbal communications
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Being able to work independently as well as part of a larger team
  • Being able to work on multiple projects in parallel
  • Participate in team discussions and share ideas

    Required skills are:

  • Strong developer skill set and hands on development experience in JavaEE, Weblogic Application Server
  • Working knowledge of development of BPM application development using BPMN, preferably using Oracle BPM 10g
  • Working practice with development of service oriented applications using CORBA, WebService and JMS messaging
  • Working practice using JSF framework
  • Database development using JDBC, SQL, Oracle 11g
  • Knowledge and experience of test driven development (jUnit) is a must
  • Good knowledge in the UNIX operating system, in creating Shell Scripts (preferably Oracle Solaris)
  • Knowhow in Configuration management using SVN
