AS400 Senior Developer - Olympic
Edelway is a Swiss IT services company.
We have just received a new requirement from our global banking client in Geneva for a Senior AS400 developer with Olympic knowledge to join its team.
We can offer a 6 months contract that can be renewed on a long term basis.
Start date: ASAP
THE ROLE:
- You will integrate the team responsible for software development and maintenance on the AS400 platform, mostly programs related to the Olympic Back Office system.
- You will be in charge of specifying, documenting functional and technical specifications.
- You will also be in charge of coding programs as well as supervising work delegated to our off-shore development center.
- You will work under the supervision of a team leader in charge of defining your objectives.
YOUR PROFILE:
* ERI Bancaire's Olympic banking system knowledge is a MUST
* RPG IV/ILE - 3 years experience (both fixed and free format syntax, ability to write Service Programs and use of IBM APIs...)
* SQL: Embedded SQL, SQL PL programming
* Good written and spoken technical English
* Ability to write functional and technical specifications
* Ability to integrate a team and adapt to organization in place
* TurnOver knowledge
* Experience in other domains like Java, VB6, .NET, Transact-SQL, Cobol is a plus
