Senior Project Manager/Financial Reporting - A major Financial Services Company is currently looking for a selfdriven Senior Project Manager with strong experience of Financial Reporting and Management Information Systems (MIS). As the role will involve working closely with Senior Management, including the C-suite, prior experience at this level will be a must.
Tasks and Activities:
- Actively support the CIO and functional/regional heads in IT transformation projects by providing comprehensive and efficient project leadership work based on best practices
- Lead and realisation of strategic/cross departmental IT Programs and Projects in an international environment
- Ensure flawless and timely delivery of agreed project deliveries and consulting mandates
- Build and maintain trust-based and professional relationships with the most senior IT leadership team, act as sparring partner for IT management
- Stakeholder management
- Prepare and communicate project status reports
To be considered for this long term role you must have the following skills/experience:
- MUST HAVE knowledge of Financial Reporting within a major Bank
- 10 years of extensive experience in IT project management, proven project delivery track record, experience working with top managers of a large global enterprise
- Working experience with MIS
- Prior experience work with Senior Level Management
- Outstanding oral and written communications skills (English and German)
- Excellent people skills (development, coaching, interacting with difficult persons)
- PMI or IPMA certification
