High Performance Senior Software Engineer (J2SE and C++), 12 month Contract, Finance, Zurich, Switzerland.
For a leading financial institution, Swisslinx is now seeking high performance Core Java and C++ Developers for a 12 month contract.
This challenging contract opportunity offers you the chance to work for one of the leading global financial institutions, based in Zurich.
In your project you will be working in a small and strong team of software engineers, supporting business processes of Foreign Exchange Workflow. The role will offer you involvement in the whole development life cycle, namely analysis, design, implementation and test aspects. Furthermore you will also work with third level production support.
In order to be considered for this opportunity, you will have experience in these areas and possess the following skills and attributes:
- At least 5 years work experience, ideally within a financial institution
- Experience with trading systems
- high performance, high throughput server development in Solaris and Linux environments
- Knowledge of basic tools to inspect binaries
- C++, J2SE
- STL and Boost
- Multi-threading, Design Patterns, JMS, XML and UML
