Our client, an international company with a complex IT infrastructure, is looking for a prototyping and ergonomics engineer/designer to drive user-centered software design and prototyping.You will:
Build up iRise expertise within the organisation
- Train future iRise users
- Coach and Support iRise users
- Create iBloc libraries
- Create prototypes in iRise
Bring an external perspective
- Complement the existing team by bringing fresh ideas around user-centered design, prototyping and ergonomics of software solutions
- Keep up with the latest thinking in software design
- Bring new ideas and ways of working
Drive Change Management
- Steering the mindset in the IS/IT organization toward designing highly usable solutions, first time right
- Provide support for a Collaborative Design, Build and Test methodology
Contribute to projects
- Identify the current pain points and suggest improvements
- Improve the prototyping process and its integration with the existing Software Development Lifecycle
- Improve best practices on using iRise
- Improve training material
The right candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- A passion for user interaction, software design and ergonomics
- Ability to create interactive prototypes
- A multidisciplinary background
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Experience creating Design Patterns, and developing/prototyping User-Centred designs
- Experience of requirement gathering/elicitation
- Diploma in industrial design, interaction design, ergonomics, usability or similar
- Knowledge/experience with iRise a big plus
- Experience working in Scrum methodology a plus
- Fluent English
- Fluent French would be a plus
