Connect44 is looking for an experienced Lawful Interception Engineer for our client.
Location: Zurich, Switzerland
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 3 months renewable
a) Achievement of Sunrise/Technology/Core Systems goals in terms of quality, budget and timing.
b) Ensure compliancy to Swiss regulations on Lawful Interception (LI) for Sunriseproducts and services.
c) Act as single point of contact for Lawful Interception on engineering tasks.
d) System owner of Lawful Interception Mediation Administration and Gateway Function.
e) Coordination of related activities with Core/Access- as well as IT-specialists/engineers.
f) Analysis of LI requirements and break down into technical solutions, implementation control (planning, design, ordering, testing, release of the solution).
g) Ensure further development as well as capacity, performance and life cycle management.
h) Technical project management and project support, operational support (eg troubleshooting of critical/emergency faults, review of operational guidelines).
Fully responsible for allocated resources in terms of time, budget and quality for related LI systems.
Meeting customer requirements on scope and timing and ensuring positive customer experience. Sticking to processes whilst keeping the necessary flexibility. Maintain motivation on challenging projects/tasks, even if multiple projects need to be supported at the same time.
Sunrise LI team, other engineering teams (core and Internet access), outsourced operations service provider, IT teams (eg DWH, mediation); external suppliers; Swiss regulatory bodies.
Education: Degree in engineering/information technology (focus on telecommunication and Internet) or similar. Good understanding of mobile and fixed communication (voice, messaging) and Internet services (access, E-Mail etc.).
Practical experience: Minimum 3 years of experience on Lawful Interception systems and solutions (relevant European and Swiss standards, external and internal system interfaces, industry solutions, generic LI capabilities of core/access/Internet systems)
Language: German, English.
Team capability and entrepreneurship; ability to establish and maintain relationships, strong ability to recognize and resolve complex technical problems, mainly on project and/or system level. Pro-active change management. Ability to abstract and to present complex topics in an easy to understand manner.
