Pharmaceutical Production Environment
For one of the best known pharmaceutical company's in Switzerland, we search for a production expert (solid oral forms), ensuring operational excellence at the production site in Fribourg, Switzerland.
Pharmaceutical Production Expert for Solid Forms - 6 month assignment immediately or Full time position
As production expert you have the full end to end responsibility, ownership and accountability for the production of solid oral forms, from receipt of starting materials to shipment of finished goods.
- Ensure performance and continuous improvement
- Lead main operations within the unit in a changing environment (paradigm shift from functions to processes),
- Monitor the performance targets of the production unit including monitoring according to standards and guidelines,
- Determine and monitor resource requirements eg staffing, equipment and investments, to ensure operational excellence,
- Ensure efficient internal and external communication,
- Manage personnel, resource allocation of assigned staff,
- Ensure quality, supply, costs and efficiency,
- Ensure compliance with GMP regulation, internal policies and procedures.
You are fluent in French and English and you have a pharmaceutical background, preferably pharmacist. A minimum of 3 years experience in an operational pharmaceutical production environment of solid oral forms (granulation, powder characteristics, tablets blending and coating, eg) is necessary. You have demonstrated leadership skills, especially in a production team environment and you are able to adapt to a demanding pace on a daily basis and yet inspire breakthrough thinking.
