Database Developer - Oracle PLSQL - TLS - Financial Service & Derivate Knowhow - UNIX
Position Description:
- A position as a Database Developer within an intercultural team responsible for a Credit Risk application.
- As Solution Engineer you are independently building and implementing moderately complex components of the TLS Middle Tier in JAVA and in the DB with PLSQL.
- Independently build and implement moderately complex components
- Contribute to technical analysis, design and implementation of moderately complex components, manages projects to build and implement of TLS Releases
- Work on multiple build components and interactions between them is understood.
- Help analyze requirements
- Write and review technical specifications for TLS.
- Participate in design reviews
- Conduct unit, system, performance and integration testing
- Contribute to technical standards and procedures
- Document moderately complex components and interactions between them independently.
- Perform 3rd Level support for TLS
- Make use of wide internal contact network within sub department.
Technical or Other Skills:
- University degree or similar educational background
- Languages: JSP, SQL, XML, HTML, WML and WSDL
- Technologies: JSEE, Servlets, Spring, JSP, EJB, JDBC, Web Services, JMS, Networking, RMI, IO, Swing, XML parser, Log4J, DRM and AJAX
- Operating Systems: Windows, Solaris, Linux
- Database: Oracle - at least 5 years experience in Oracle database development with PL/SQL
- Good knowledge of Oracle 10g, Oracle ETL tools and Oracle performance tuning tools/utilities
- Know-How in developing Shell Scripts on Unix (Solaris)
- Experience in Java development (JSF, Spring, JUnit) and Object Oriented features of PL/SQL is a plus
- Good Financial Products background (Derivatives)
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) i a must have; German as nice to have;
- Dynamic and proactive personality
MUST HAVES:
- Oracle PL/SQL development-know how - at least 7 years
- Financial Service & Derivate know how
- UNIX know how
- Java is not necessary - the emphasis lies on Oracle and SQL
