For our customer in Zurich we are looking for a

Software Engineer

Your responsibilities:

  • Deliver FX Client Order Management System for FX Algorithmic Trading projects. Includes technical design, implementation, guidance of other team members. Specialist skills include OO design, J2SE concurrent Server Side programming, messaging systems. Delivery will be monthly incremental

    Required Skills:

  • Languages: Java, JavaScript, Flex, SQL, Unix Shell Scripting, XML, ActionScript
  • Skills: OO Design Principles, DB Design Principles, ER modelling, UML, analytical thinking, ability to understand complex problems and analyze different solutions with their pros and cons
  • Experience: Source Code Control, Feature and Defect tracking, Agile and Waterfall delivery processes, Foreign Exchange trading, Design & development of applications with high requirements on availability, Configuration management, Performance & Stress testing
  • Fluent German and English
