RMDS Market Data Engineer
Our client, an international financial services company, is currently looking for an experienced and motivated Market Data Engineer with multiple years of experience in the financial environment. This is a fantastic contract opportunity to work within a dynamic and international business environment.
Tasks and Responsiblities:
- Interfacing with end users/developers and other engineering teams (eg technical infrastructure services team)
- Act as a consultant to the operations teams to provide 3rd line assistance
- Deployment of additional market data enterprise products and software upgrades
- Reuters Market Data System Back End infrastructure with 3-4 years working experience
- Extensive knowledge of RMDS v.5 + v.6 components
- Must have actively architected/engineered/installed/supported market data systems
- Very good knowledge of Scripting skills such as sh/csh/bash and Perl
- A good understanding of networks is required and Unix/Linux RedHat Operating systems to enable the candidate to install/support the market data systems
