Our client is one of the world's largest suppliers of commodities and raw materials to industrial consumers.The global SAP Service Center provides critical SAP support as well as business
optimization and implements projects to service the Global Business. Centralized in
Switzerland, it gives support to several countries around the world. The financial and
trade accounting area is one of the major customers.
The position has the following
responsibilities:
- Develop, deploy, maintain and support
SAP BI/BO systems
- Provide solutions to business owners
and key users on the SAP BI/BO
environment
- Manage incidents, configuration and
customizing of SAP BI/BO
environment, including authorization
- Provide user training in SAP BI/BO
environment, developing training
material where appropriate
- Answer/resolve basic FICO user
questions/incidents
- Take charge of smaller projects to
enhance and develop the current
environment
- Ensure the implementation of
accounting report requirements
- 5+ years of SAP BI experience with at least
2 years in a user support role and 2 full
implementation cycles
- Experience in daily monitoring of data
loading from/to SAP BI and error handling
- End-user knowledge of SAP Financials
- Experience in data modelling and data
extraction
- Excellent familiarity with BOXI environment
(building universes, reports on the top of
SAP BI)
- Basic ABAP skills
- Good knowledge of financial and controlling
processes
- Fluent in English, knowledge of German is a
plus
- Analytical perception, structured and
accurate working practice
- Pro-active in identifying/resolving issues
- Good client relationship skills with ability to
communicate effectively
- Able to work under pressure in a challenging
environment
- Strong team player
