Java Consultant/Coordinator required, to work on a project within a major Swiss Bank.
Role Purpouse:
Client & Products Development is a software development unit within Wealth Management & Swiss Bank IT and delivers a wide range of applications used by client advisors and clients. Most of our applications are written in Java.
We are looking for an agile Java consultant/coordinator who is able to manage efficiently different software components. He/she has a wide range of technical skills and can adopt those skills working on unix system or by analysing data on a oracle data base. The communication between different stakeholders like Solution Domain Manager, Internal IT partners and external software providers is important. As a Software Component Manager administrative tasks have to be done precisely.
Main Tasks:
Software Component Management within application Tax Offshore for four software components. The main tasks are technical consulting (design proposals, effort estimations, advisor for external software provider), conducting data analysis on the DB, analysing production problems in case of incidents. Leading the x86-migration for the Tax Offshore application will be a task in the near future.
Software Component Management for different developer tools (Rational Application Developer, Open Source Software tools, Java). Provide installation packages for RAD and OSS tools. Assure third level support for above mentioned tools.
