For our customer in Zurich we are looking for a 6 months period a Application Support Specialist

Task & Responsibilities:

  • A challenging position with responsibilities in operating, maintaining and stabilising the complex and growing Treasury DWH within the company and its Liquidity and regulatory requirements with close interaction and relation to Treasury Business and its banking products
  • The Treasury DWH is used for assessing risk exposures, liquidity and cash flow modelling for stress tests and scenario analysis, and populates transactions and banking products to the accounting statements on a daily basis
  • Being part of FSI, the Financial Systems Initiative, a strategic program for redesigning the Finance application landscape

    Required Experience/Skills:

  • Graduate degree in Computer Science, equal education or qualifying experience
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle (queries, optimization, partitioning, indexing, PL/SQL)
  • Sound experience in Unix (ksh, sh, Scripting) and its tools
  • Deployment expertise (Subversion, CVS)
  • Reporting skills (APEX, OBIEE) as a plus
