For our client, an international financial company based in Zurich, Switzerland, we are looking for aApplication Support Specialist
In this challenging role, you will:
Operate, maintain and stabilize the complex and growing Treasury DWH and its Liquidity and regulatory requirements with close interaction and relation to Treasury Business and its banking products (The Treasury DWH is used for assessing risk exposures, liquidity and cash flow modelling for stress tests and scenario analysis, and populates transactions and banking products to the accounting statements on a daily basis)
We are looking for people with the following skill set:
- Graduate degree in Computer Science, equal education or qualifying experience
- Strong knowledge of Oracle (queries, optimization, partitioning, indexing, PL/SQL)
- Sound experience in Unix (ksh, sh, Scripting) and its tools
- Deployment expertise (Subversion, CVS)
- Knowledge of Informatica Powercenter Administration
- Working experience in large DWH environments as a plus
- Job-scheduling knowledge (Control-M, DAC) as a plus
- Reporting skills (APEX, OBIEE) as a plus
- Banking skills are a big plus
- Fluency in English (both spoken and written), German as a plus
