Java Engineer/Consultant, (J2EE, Unix, Webshpere, Eclipse, RAD), English, Contract, Banking, Zurich. Our client, one of the leading and most recognised brands within the banking sector, is currently seeking a highly motivated Java Engineer/Consultant.
In this contract you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Technical consulting (design proposals, effort estimations, advisor for external software provider)
- Conducting data analysis on the DB
- Analysing production problems in case of incidents
- Software Component Management for different developer tools (Rational Application Developer, Open Source Software tools, Java)
- Provide installation packages for RAD and OSS tools
- Assure third level support for above mentioned tools
The successful candidate should have:
- Background in Java (J2EE) development
- Good knowledge of Unix
- Good WebSphere, RAD and Eclipse knowhow
- Experience with Windows Packaging and Scripting is nice to have
- Fluent in English (German is nice to have)
Start date: 15.06.2012
End date: 31.05.2013
Rate: up to CHF 850.- per day
