Our client, a major player in the banking industry, is looking for a WebSphere Administrator (m/f)
freelance/temporary employment for a project in Geneva
Reference number:
Start of the project: ASAP
Project duration: 6 MM++
Your Duties:
- Administration and maintenance of an existing IBM WebSphere infrastructure
- Working to resolve problems and incidents to enable the operation to continue to run and deliver services effectively by eradicating recurrences with the minimum disruption to the business
- Participating in Major Incident Reviews and Service Improvement Programs as required
- Providing user support to user groups to determine operations support needs and to ensure smooth project implementations
- Ensuring that processes are being adhered to by the service agreement managers, reviewing reports and escalating issues to management
- For new solutions oversee migration plans taking due consideration of existing service requirements
Your Qualifications:
- Advanced expertise in large WebSphere deployments in a highly visible, high-availability production environment
- Advanced expertise in managing web-related and messaging services
- Very strong understanding in designing and implementing WebSphere Application Server & Portal Server
- Advanced expertise in managing WebSphere Performance Tuning and Monitoring
- Advanced expertise with IBM HTTP Server, Apache HTTP Server Apache Tomcat
- Fluent in English
