Manning Global is currently looking for an experienced Radio/MW Network Supervision Engineer for one of our clients, a leading International Telecommunications Company for a Contract Position based in Switzerland.
Job Description
Front Office Engineer for Radio/Microwave Network.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Radio & Microwave Network Supervision
· Problem solving capabilities within radio/microwave network in NSN/Ericsson OSS.
· Interaction with Field Services Engineering Team for troubleshooting.
Requirements
· Experience working in a Front Office environment for radio/microwave systems. Includes radio access network and overview of core mobile systems.
· Knowledge of radio management systems (Nokia and Ericsson) and OSS.
· Ideally experience with trouble ticket systems (Remedy ideal but others if possible).
· Able to do basic troubleshooting on mobile radio systems.
· Proactively manage tickets coordinating multiple parties in a timely and professional manner.
· Able to coordinate multiple tasks/teams at the same time.
· Good communicator in English.
· Willing to work over an extended day (likely to be no more than 7am to 7pm and possibly the occasional night).
· Ideally willing to work through the complete project without taking holiday.
