Program Portfolio Manager - Banking- Contract - Zurich
We are currently looking for a Program Portfolio Manager to work for a bank based in Zurich. Our client is implementing a new programmes which are due to be implemented in 2015. These programs are a multi-year effort which explore what is possible when divisional priorities are executed with a view of Group-wide requirements and execution.
The overall themes of these programs include: cross-divisional benefits and increased IT reuse via standardization. Programs under the initiative will develop new technology capabilities in a number of specific areas, including: client experience, comprehensive view of the client, execution, capital efficiency, post trade/transaction services and data.
As a member of the Portfolio Management Office your role will include (but is not limited to):
- Ensure consistency and quality according to the defined investment governance process methodology and tools
- Preparation of submissions to the monthly IT Change Board Meeting and the Firm-wide Investment Governance Committee
- Preparation of material for internal and external communication, eg to regulators (FRNBY, FINMA)
- Pro-active tracking of cost & benefits targets across the Portfolio
- Provide monthly portfolio reporting by streams & producers
- Adhoc reporting and financial analysis from eXtract
- Implement tracking mechanism to manage new intra-year demand
- Provide guidance to stream PMOs on any issues regarding cost object setup, producer/OC transfers, program baselining and funding drawdowns
- Moderation of Connections group, Sharepoint and Intranet sites
- Manage Core Team actions and issue tracking
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Project Management or COO function with cross-location and cross-divisional exposure both on the IB and WM side
- Strong network across the Group Technology organisation and in-depth understanding Investment Governance process are a must
- Advanced skills with Excel pivot tables, PowerPoint and eXtract
- Direct client interaction with senior managers will require interpersonal and client management skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
