Required Skills: (it is assumed that most candidates will not have all these skills
- Knowledge of software product and services vendor security controls
- Knowledge of application security controls such as SAST, DAST and Binary Static Analysis
- Knowledge of secure SDLC
- Knowledge of industry best practices, such as OWASP, SafeCode, NIST, SAMM and BSIMM
- Knowledge of Java
- Knowledge of developing code in Objective C
- Knowledge of securing mobile applications
- Knowledge of Static analysis tools for code security
- Knowledge of Java Applets deployment
- J2EE Security Management consultancy skills
- Project Management & documentation skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding of good use of security metrics
- English fluent
There is an urgent need for a security expert who has a development background but has progressed into Security architecture and or project management. Critical knowledge is in Application Hardening, and introducing security controls in application development both standard banking apps and also mobile devices including, blackberry, iPads etc. You will bring several years experience working in application security and be able to improve the resiliency of platforms against current and future attacks across all newly adopted technologies, sourcing and deployment models.
