For our client, an end user and international company, we are looking for aSupport Specialist (m/f)
for a permanent position in Geneva

Your Duties:
- To provide effective first and second level desktop support for all areas of the Geneva based business and also provide cover for other satellite offices when needed, delivering a focused client service experience through ad-hoc troubleshooting and problem solving for end user queries.
- You will be involved in new and ongoing project work, be required to assist with upgrades and deployment of new software and hardware and be part of on call support and rotating shift rosters.
- You will be expected to travel at short notice - Switzerland and Europe.
Your Qualifications:
- Graduated in IT, you have strong professional experience in a similar role in an investment bank or a hedge fund. Experience in this sector is mandatory.
- You have a large experience in following technologies: Microsoft Windows XP/Windows 7, Active Directory and group policy, Windows networking (DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP), Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 and 2007, RIM Blackberry Enterprise Server, HP Hardware including printers, NetApp/VMWare beneficial, Microsoft Office Excel.
- You are used to work in an international environment.
- Fluent in French (French is a plus) and English (written and spoken).
- Be comfortable working in a constantly changing and high paced environment. Possess excellent communication skills and enjoy working with other people in a team environment.
- Have a self starting approach and be willing to work flexible hours and varying shifts.
- Have the ability to multitask and manage conflicting priorities.
